‘Spyder’ Caught, Receives Medical Attention

BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (THURSDAY 25TH JANUARY 2018)-Today, police in Nevis captured 52- year- old Wayne ‘Spyer’ Chapman who was wanted  for questioning in relation to the murder of his girlfriend, 45- year-old Shirley Dawn Morton.

Chapman was caught today at around 1:00 A.M in Taylor’s Pasture, Gingerland.

A police press release stated that Chapman, who is diabetic, is receiving medical assistance.

He had been on the run for the last four days after he was listed as a person of interest following the discovery of his girlfriend’s lifeless body in his house at Hanley’s Road in Gingerland on Sunday 21st January 21st.

An autopsy performed on the body of Morton on Monday 22nd  January by Forensic Pathologist Dr. Valery Alexandrov revealed that the cause of death was multiple blunt force traumas to the head causing brain injury.
