BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Thursday 7th September 2023) – Six contestants for the Miss St. Kitts-Nevis National Queen Pageant have been unveiled, featuring a field of diverse body type beauties ready to take to the stage to vie for the prestigious Sugar Mas (St.

Kitts-Nevis National Carnival) title. They are Ambassador #1: 20-year-old Ry’anna Buchanan (from Middle Island), Ambassador #2: 23-year-old Azariah Vanterpool (from Half Way Tree), Ambassador #3: 19-year-old Jeymi Peets (from Camps), Ambassador #4: 22-year-old Shavel Watson (from Buckley’s), Ambassador #5: 25-year-old Desanne Maynard (Carifesta Village, St.

Peter’s) and Ambassador #6: 23-year-old Desnarine Hanley (from St. Peter’s). At a Sugar Mas 52 launch ceremony held on Wednesday 6th September 2023 at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel, the ambassadors were showcased via pre-recorded video presentation followed by in-person introduction while strutting and posing in identical sparkly aqua green dresses.

The short fitted dressed collectively displayed their various curves before the audience gathered at the sponsorship type cocktail event. That night marked 100 days until Sugar Mas 52. Among those in attendance were sponsors, perspective sponsors and members of the media.

The well-anticipated pageant is slated to take place on at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium in Basseterre.

Carnival Chairperson Shannon Hawley stated during her remarks: “I would like to express my gratitude for everyone to everyone who is here this evening. We’re really appreciative to see so many sponsors and prospective sponsors who have graced us with your presence midweek to witness the reveal of these six beautiful Contestants as well as to receive an update on the National Carnival activities.” “You guys were absolutely amazing this evening your grace your poise your talented and your testament to the depth that resides in our nation.
