Fair Share For All: Dummies, Rummies And Vagabonds — All Of Unity Must Be Rejected By The Electorate

The protest march was huge. The public meetings have all been huge. But the war is not yet won. The race is not yet over. All that we have been doing, we must continue. We can’t stop pounding the pavement. We can’t stop knocking on doors. We can’t stop interacting with the people. Sincere, enduring relationships with the electorate will let us know where we stand. No one we meet along the way must be taken for granted.

These elections of 2022 are not like any other. While this is the second time in our history that we are having general elections two years after the previous one, this is the first time that we are having three political parties fielding candidates in all eight constituencies. Labour people want to see the back of Timothy. PAM people, while hoping for a victory, are saying anybody but Timothy. The leadership of PAM/CCM had seven years of Timothy — seven years of torture from all reports. Back then when we tried to suggest that all wasn’t well with the government because we were hearing and seeing things, they all laughed us to scorn. But when they couldn’t bear the tight shoes anymore and they finally admitted that there really was nothing fair about the share, we find ourselves on the campaign trail two years after an election.

For me, after all the chaos and confusion that Unity has caused my beloved country, every single one of them should be rejected by the electorate. All when they were boasting that five more than twenty and that they had the best of everything, so much infighting was taking place, so many get-rich schemes were being hatched, none of them had any time to study us the citizens and residents. Now we are hearing all who moo moo, all who lazy and all who like to drink rum. Seven years of moo moo, lazy alcoholics — and we must vote them back in? Timothy was the man in charge of these moo moo, lazy alcoholics for seven years and we must vote him back in? And all who just joined their teams as new candidates, we must vote for them? HELL NO!!!
