Non-National Found Dead Was Burnt Too

BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Thursday 5th April 2018) – Autopsy results for homicide victim 27-year-old Marlon James-the Guyanese national who had been residing in Brown Hill, Nevis-have found that his cause of death was due to multiple gunshot wounds to the body and thermal burns to 90% of the body.

Police have informed that Forensic Pathologist Dr. Valery Alexandrov performed the autopsy on the body yesterday (Wednesday 4th April).

His body was discovered on Saturday 31st March at around 7:30 am on a road in the Hamilton area and the matter reported to the Charlestown Police Station.

As reported by the local authorities, there were signs of violence and multiple gunshots wounds about the body.

James was pronounced dead at the scene by the District Medical Doctor

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
