Editorial — Labour Day 2021
Time and again we of this newspaper have tried to warn our people about the true nature of several persons involved in the politics of our beloved, little country. For the better part, those warnings have gone unheeded. In particular we tried to warn elements of SCHEME UNITY that they had entered into a ‘Faustian Bargain’, the type that NEVER ends well. Indeed, we explained that such undertakings were akin to making deals with, or selling one’s soul to, the devil — the kinds to which there are never any happy endings. Whenever money, power, and the flesh are all in play together, the results are usually catastrophic.
Within fairly recent times large numbers of our people have begun awakening to that about which we have been giving warnings for many years. It is encouraging to see and hear that individual members of the mercantile and industrial sectors have awakened to the reality of SCHEME UNITY and what it really stands for. For them the light has ‘dawned.’ Perhaps even more so is the fact that members of the clergy are among those who have experienced an awakening — what may be termed a ‘political epiphany.’ For many it has to be a most saddening experience to realise that they overlooked the divine warning that Satan is the father of ALL liars, and that his agents employ his many deceptions to influence us all into falling for their trickery.
But, all of that is a matter for them. Who can’t hear will feel! Meanwhile, we call on all of our people to remember that Monday 3 May will be Labour Day. We invite, and encourage, everyone to participate in the events which Labour has organised to mark the occasion, primarily virtual in nature. A very happy Labour Day to all of our people!
