Editorial
It is our fervent hope that, despite the hardships and difficulties of living at this particular juncture in our history, we all found time to reflect on the true meaning of Advent, and availed ourselves of the time to deepen our relationship with our Heavenly Father. We live in a secular world where tolerance of peoples’ faith is a given, except, it seems, when it comes to Christianity. This should not weaken us in any way; rather we should constantly remind ourselves that, at our level as human beings, our Christian faith is primarily about the two virtues of humility and generosity. This should be a time of joy, merriment, and sharing with our loved ones and others. Above all else, though, it should be a time of prayer and worship, giving thanks and praise to our Heavenly Father. The Editor, staff, and everyone here at The Labour Spokesman wish you and yours a blessed and merry Christmas.
