Like most every other country in the world, we, the people of St. Kitts and Nevis are experiencing the effects of the pandemic known as COVID-19, and in order to minimise the spreading and ill effects of the virus, we are all required to make certain personal sacrifices and curtail most of our outdoor and other public activities.
These are necessary measures, vital to our continued good health, and even life itself. We call on all of our people to comply with the various orders, rules and regulations, and we compliment all those who have been cooperating with the authorities in those regards.
We have always been a law abiding people, and so it has not called for much effort to obey the orders and rules on the part of the vast majority of our people. Rather unfortunately, there are those elements who will always run afoul of the law, and they will always have to be brought back into line.
Whatever SCHEME UNITY may try, we simply CANNOT afford to allow them to get away with any of it. We MUST all be fully prepared to return to the fold, and once more grasp the sure, steady, caring, and ever loving Hand of Labour. ALWAYS bear in mind, dear people, that elections have consequences.
