Frigate Bay, St. Kitts – On , the Rotary Club of Liamuiga hosted its Installation Ceremony for the new President and Executive Board at the Grenada Room, St. Kitts Marriott Resort. The ceremony marks the beginning of the 20242025 Rotary Year.
The event commenced with an inspiring invocation by Past President Laverne Caines, followed by the Rotary Four Way Test, led by Past President Ryeburn Boyce. Past President Claudelle Gumbs expertly chaired the proceedings.
The outgoing president’s comprehensive report highlighted the year’s major accomplishments, including the successful Annual New Year’s Charity Ball fundraiser. Three members were honoured as Paul Harris Fellows: President Kaii Mills-Dias, VP Cosbert Woods, and Treasurer Natasha St.
Juste. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is awarded to individuals who contribute, or have contributions made in their name, of US$1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. In her video message, Rotary International President Stephanie Urchick unveiled the theme for this Rotary Year, “The Magic of Rotary.” Following the oath of office administered by Rotary District 7030 Assistant Governor Leah Crag-Chaderton, President Kaii Mills-Dias delivered a dynamic and thought-provoking address.
“So, I ask our members here today, what’s the magic of Rotary for you? And to our family and friends here today, I want you to ask yourself, what is the magic that you see yourself creating with Rotary?” President Mills-Dias stated.
“Today, we stand at the threshold of opportunity, poised to continue making a profound impact on our communities and the world at large.
