Letter to the Editor
Dear Mr. Minister, teachers are not responsible for making up time lost during a global pandemic. The Ministry of Education is creating a hazard by getting children back to school without proper support or a functional plan. As a human being, I am a limited resource. Demanding teachers work five extra hours per week is overwhelming. An overworked teacher is detached from her students’ outcomes. This sacrifice is unconscionable and counterproductive.
