Asking for a Correction
If you believe something we have published is inaccurate, write to labourspokesmannewsroom@gmail.com with the headline, the date of publication, and the specific point at issue. Please include any documents that support your account.
How We Handle It
The Editor reviews every request. Where an error of fact is established, the article is corrected and a note is added at the foot of the piece recording what was changed and when. Significant corrections are also carried in the next printed edition. Where the point is one of interpretation rather than fact, we will say so and offer a right of reply where that is warranted.
Complaints
Complaints about conduct, fairness or tone should go to the Editor at the same address, or by post to the Editor, The Labour Spokesman, Masses House, Basseterre, St. Kitts. We aim to acknowledge within five working days.
Takedown Requests
We do not remove accurate published journalism on request. The archive is a public record of the workers’ movement and of national life, and altering it would diminish its value. Where a genuine legal or safety concern arises, write to the Editor and it will be considered on its merits.
