And that is why people are beginning to wonder if the heightened gun activity in particular areas coupled with the people caught bringing in weapons aren’t part of a play gone completely off script. Whatever is the case, we cannot continue like this.
So if equipping the Customs Department with boats to police the borders would help as suggested by Terry, then it should be done. But if rogue Customs officers will use to the opportunity to import illegal firearms and other contraband, then the federation will have a bigger problem.
I believe that just as the gang members are all known to the police, the rogue cops and the rogue customs officers are all well known to their superiors as well. But it seems as if there is not the will to rid these law-enforcing bodies of these undesirables.
Something has to be done and quickly. A few bad apples have been allowed to spoil the name of the whole bunch so remedial action must be taken immediately.
The will has to be found.
And the solution cannot be a “water table BHS” solution.
But then Team Unity likes the complicated. Because the complicated provides the opportunity for corruption.
So I am thinking that for how this Team Unity operates, if the Customs gets a boat, for example, I am sure that the name of the vessel would be “MV Harris Again”.
