BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Tuesday 16th October 2018)- With the assistance of the public, police have once again tracked down the whereabouts of a teenage girl following her second reported runaway episode in the space of over eight months which saw her missing for more than a week also.
On Saturday 13th October, a spokesperson from the Police Public Relations Department informed members of the media that 15-year-old Tunisha Caines of Saddlers Village who was reported as having had runaway from home was located that day “thanks to the help of concerned citizens.”
It was also outlined that further information about her condition will be shared as soon as the police are able to have an assessment done.
The teen girl had last been seen on Thursday 4th October at about 8PM at home by her parents.
Similarly, in January this year, Caines was found by police on a weekend ten (10) days after she was last seen at home on Wednesday 27th December 2017 at about 7:00 PM.
She was found in the Conaree community just before midday on Saturday 6th January and was taken to the Joseph N France General Hospital for medical assistance.
