BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Friday 26th March 2021)- Police are reporting that “no foul play is suspected” concerning the death of 40-year-old man whose body was recently discovered at Bath Village in Nevis.
Dead is Veon Sutton of Stoney Hill.
Reportedly, an autopsy was performed on Thursday 25th March 2021 by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nuñez who has “concluded that his death was as a result of mechanical asphyxia due to bronchoaspiration of gastric contents.”
Sometime after 4 p.m. on Tuesday 23rd March 2021, police responded to a report which led them to discover the motionless body of a man along a bay.
This media house understands that the area where Sutton was found was on a beach which borders VON Radio.
On the day of the dead body discovery, the District Medical Officer visited the scene and pronounced him dead.
Personnel from the Forensic Services Unit visited and processed the scene.
