Police Investigating Attempted Murder In Buckley’s

Basseterre, St. Kitts: (NOVEMBER 2017):- This week, police are investigating a shooting incident in the Buckley’s community, classified as an attempted murder, which has left one man nursing gunshot wounds about his body.

According to the investigators the shooting victim is identified as 39-year-old Devon ‘Cocksman’ Jeffers of Buckley’s Housing.

It was further revealed that he was attacked on Tuesday 28th November just after 6:00 PM.

It is understood that Devon was grazed on one side of his body and received a shot to the other side.

Reportedly, Jeffers was in the vicinity of Steve’s shop in Buckley’s, where he was engaged in a game with several others when someone or some persons approached them and opened fire.

Jeffers was able to escape the gunman’s wrath and made his way to the Joseph N France General Hospital where he was treated and warded in a stable condition.

At press time, no one was taken into police custody in relation to the incident.

Investigations are ongoing.

This shooting comes just three days after the shooting death of 27- year- old Theon Audain.
