Police Address Missing Teenager; Plus Missing Security Officer Update

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Monday 21st January 2019)-Following investigations into the whereabouts of a teenage boy reported missing earlier today, police has given an update into the matter.

A spokesperson at the Police Public Relations Department has informed the local media that: “Regarding the 15-year-old who some of you enquired about. I contacted the Special Victims Unit and was able to confirm that he has been located. Once I’m provided with more information, I’ll share it with you.”

An appeal for public assistance was made via various social media posts including Facebook and WhatsApp by the teen’s family members, friends and others concerned.

Shortly before the police’s update, a female relative of another young man-age 20- who was reported missing after last seen over the past weekend communicated publicly that he was found safe and thanked members of the public for their concern and help.

As gathered that young man is employed as a security officer.
