BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Saturday 31st March, 2017)- Police on the sister island of Nevis are currently investigating the homicide of a non-national whose body was found in a bushy area in  the community of Hamilton this morning.

Dead is 27-year-old Marlon James, a national of Guyana who resided in Brown Hill.

Charlestown Police Station received a report of a body being found along a road in the Hamilton area at around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31.

Reporteldy, there were signs of violence and multiple gunshots wounds about the body.

The District Medical Doctor arrived at the scene and pronounced James dead.

The Crime Scene Unit also responded and several items of evidential value were taken into police custody. Police investigations are ongoing. Persons with information regarding this incident are urged to contact the Charlestown Police Station at 469-5391.

This latest homicide is the eight recorded in the Federation for 2018 with three (3) on Nevis and five (5) on St.Kitts.
