BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Sunday 27th October 2019) – A woman in her 20s is currently being nursed in stable condition after being stabbed several times by a man.
Police say the offender-who fled the scene- is presently in custody following that wounding incident that occurred in the Dieppe Bay area yesterday on Saturday 26th October 2019 at about 6:45PM.
Investigations so far have revealed that 28-year-old Myrthlyn Mitchell of that community was attacked and stabbed several times about the body with a knife.
She was transported to the Pogson Medical Centre by the police and was subsequently transferred to the JNF General Hospital.
Mitchell is currently listed as being in a stable condition. The offender fled the scene, but was later taken into custody by the Police. Members of the Forensic Services Unit visited and processed the scene.
