House Fire Family Seeking Assistance

Basseterre, St. Kitts– A Camps village family who lost their home and belongings in a house fire over the past weekend is requesting the help of the general public in an effort to return their lives to a state of normalcy.

The family is asking for food items as well as clothing items.

Clothes are need for a 6 -year –old girl who wears size 6 pants and size 8 tops; a 23- year- old female who wears 15 to 16 bottoms and size large tops and for a male who wears size 9 shoe as well as shirts and undergarments.

Monetary donations are also accepted, cheques are to be made payable Nickiela Hazel.

The family thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes in their time of need.

According to the authorities the fire occurred in Camps on Saturday 21st October.

No lives were lost in the fire but the home and its contents were completely destroyed by the flames, informed Fire Chief Everette O’ Garro.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Investigations are ongoing.
