BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Monday 27th August 2018) – Members of the public  are currently taking advantage  of an impromptu sale- put on by management of the Indo Carib Shop/ Sun Island Clothes- in the aftermath of fiery damage to its property yesterday morning.

This media house visited the Central Street business place early this morning and met over 50 individuals on the outside eager to get their hands on reduced items such as fans, ironing boards, school bags and books.

Managers and employees wore dust masks protecting their nose and mouth in the charred environment as they handled sales by collecting items requested by customers.

In an attempt by this reporter to get an interview, one manager indicated that he was busy tending to customers but expressed his willingness to speak at a later time after.

One woman informed that she was glad to get a bargain on an ironing board indicating that she got it for $20, over $30 less than the usual price.

It is understood that the store had been running a special on school  uniforms at buy two and get one free.
