BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Friday 2nd October 2020) – Police have informed that Emergency Medical Service (EMS) workers phoned the local authorities after a woman was recently found unresponsive at home with a cord wrapped about her neck.
Dead is Sandra Adams of Stonefort Heights Project.
Reportedly, she was found in her room on Saturday 26th September, 2020.
A statement issued by the Police Public Relations Department the next day (Sunday) indicated that the police “responded to a call from Emergency Medical Service Personnel from Adams’s home in Stonefort Heights Project.”
It was stated further that: “Upon their arrival, Adams was found unresponsive in her room with a cord wrapped about her neck. The circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear and investigations into the matter are ongoing.”
Police say personnel from the Forensic Unit visited and processed the scene and that an autopsy is expected to be carried out shortly to determine the exact cause of death.
