In response to the recent surge in violent crime incidents within our Federation, an emergency Cabinet meeting was convened today, April 18, to address the situation. The meeting, chaired by the Honourable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, Deputy Prime Minister, was held to assess the current state of affairs and to strategise on measures to ensure the safety and security of our citizens.
The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) in St. Kitts is poised to step up recruitment initiatives to get more women involved in technical and vocational fields traditionally dominated by men.

The Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC) is submitting a Request for Information (RIF) that requires the drilling of five (5) wells in Phase 1 for an initial 10MWe. This will be expanded to 30MWe with the drilling of four (4) additional wells in Phase 2.

Kitts will provide  "Safe Harbouring" for the Royal Caribbean Group Vessels, Grandeur of the Seas, originating from the Port of Miami/Coco Cay and Rhapsody of the Seas originating from St. Maarten.  Rhapsody of the Seas will arrive into the Federation on Sunday, December 6th 2020, and meet the Federation’s COVID-19 regulations, including arrival travel requirements, and health and safety protocols for all international travelers. Grandeur of the Seas is due to arrive later next week and a confirmed date will be announced.
The St. Kitts Electricity Company Ltd. will be conducting meter audits in the Village to West Farm areas from Monday 7th December to Sunday 13th December 2020. During this time our advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) technicians will be upgrading our smart meters.
