The acronym “SDG” derives its inspiration from the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and Captain SDG is set to become the emblematic advocate for environmental sustainability and responsibility in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Captain SDG’s inauguration marks a significant milestone within the framework of the ‘Reduce Single-Use Plastics’ public awareness campaign, spearheaded by the Department of Environment. This charismatic character embodies the essence of environmental stewardship, encouraging students to take proactive steps in reducing the use of single-use plastics.
