BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Sunday 30th September 2018)- With a combined total of eighteen (18) top national and regional acts announced for this year’s Inception Fete, organisers have revealed that more is yet to come thus- for the time being leading up to the month of December- complementing its ‘Unstoppable’ theme for the ninth annual production put on by Professional Promoters.

In a party atmosphere on Friday 28th September), the well-anticipated entertainment news broke at a launch event held at Uncle Fat’s located at Frigate Bay.

As unveiled, the regional acts are two Jamaican Dancehall performers- Masicka and Shenseea; two entertainers from Trinidad soca artiste Patrice Roberts and Patrick the Hypeman as well as the DJ Puffy (the 2016 Red Bull Thre3style World Champion) from Barbados.

On the homegrown side of things are: Byron Messia-this year’s Inception brand ambassador, Nu Vybes Band International, Small Axe Band, Grand Masters, Kollision Band, Rucas HE, Hi-Light, Sweet Sister Sensia, Hellfire International, DJ Tero, Extasy Sounds International, VJ Shabz and Street Vybz Sounds.’

It was also revealed that Inception Fete 9-slated to take place on Saturday 29th December- will return to its Fort Thomas Hotel Grounds home venue having been hosted at the Warner Park last year.

With the announcement of acts via technical on-screen musical unveiling, fans and music lovers reacted with joyous screams and thunderous applause.

The local acts present encouraged patrons to attend the upcoming fete and shared their hype about performing while the regional acts did likewise via recorded-video presentation style.

The event was emceed by well-known media personality Maurice ‘EK’ Flanders with cohost Vadeesha John of Team Inception.

John, while whetting party appetites for the annual 12-hour fete in talking about features like a VIP fast track entrance and Caribbean-style breakfast and coupled with more reasons to attend the stellar-artistes concert, told: “Listen, I could go on and on all night but I don’t have all night so come to the party…”

The event saw ticket giveaways to quizzed patrons as well as entertainment by DJ Tero and Byron Messia.

Due to inclement weather that night, the launch party was not stopped from happening but rather moved indoors.

Inception Fete is one of the most looked forward to events during Sugar Mas (St.Kitts-National) for many people, both locals and visitors alike.
