Missing Person Just Taking A Break?

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Wednesday 23rd January 2019)- Unconfirmed reports reaching this media house are claiming  that 19-year-old Deaundre Farrell of Gillard Meadows, St. Peters reported missing by police is safe and just on the sister isle of Nevis for the time being.

He is the third young man whose whereabouts have become a public concern this week.

A 15-year-old and a 20-year-old were located in Nevis after last seen over the past week, similarly to this most recent matter.

Yesterday afternoon, police issued a missing person flyer seeking assistance in tracking him down. However, poster was not distributed for the other two individuals.

Without a pinned date, local authorities have that the St.Kitts youth was last seen in West Bury in Nevis after seen by his mother on Saturday 19th January.

 “From wha I understand is bout five ah dem went Nevis but de two before come down before he. When I heard bout de two who dey say went missing I didn’t believe da dey de actually missing…” a man speaking with this media house commented while another individual said “He isn’t missing. He’s in Nevis.”

A young mother giving her take on the whole situation told: “When these young fellas going where they going, they need to tell their parents because they know their mothers especially would be worried.”

As gathered, the 20-year-old who, said to be employed as a security officer on St.Kitts, called off from work during the time he was in Nevis as information gathered by this media house indicated that he was not actually missing in the first place.

“He should be ashamed to have his mother worried like that”, remarked one individual amidst social media reports that he was missing at the time.

It is understood that the young man has been back out to work.

To date, for the local authorities, Farrell is still classified as missing.
