Finch Sisters Killed In Keys Village

BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (MARCH 2018)- Two sisters from the community of Key’s were killed in yesterday’s double homicide in that village and a male suspect has been taken into police custody is said to be the boyfriend of the younger sister.

Dead are 18-year-old Naomi ‘Hope’ Finch and 21-year-old Jimmyliah ‘Sunshine’ Finch.

Reportedly, yesterday afternoon, police responded to a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, they found the motionless bodies of the two sisters lying close to the seashore with what appeared to be chop wounds.

It is understood that the older sister was member of the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force who recently gave birth to a baby who is a month old.

The District Medical Officer visited the scene and pronounced both dead.

The Forensic Unit processed the scene and items of evidential value were taken into police custody.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
