A quantity of drugs were seized by the Police during a joint search operation Thursday morning February 07
Officers from the Nevis Division, the Special Services Unit (SSU), and the Regional Security Service (RSS), along with Soldiers from the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) conducted several operations throughout Nevis on Sunday, December 09, 2018.

Police Investigating Homicide

A source at the police public relations department confirmed shortly after 8PM on Thursday 22nd September 2021 that a homicide took place in the Newtown community.
Investigations so far have revealed that 28-year-old Eric Thompson, also known as Jun Jun, of Ponds Pasture had arrived at his home when he was shot several times about the body by a lone gunman.

The information received stated that a young woman had been stabbed and needed assistance.
A man found to have ammunition in his bag at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport has been hit with a number of charges including the offences of Battery, Possession of Ammunition and Importation of Ammunition.
